Today’s Weather Forecast: Possibility of Heavy Rain in Some Places

Residents in the provinces of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, Lumbini, and Sudurpaschim should be prepared for light to moderate precipitation in some areas. While the rest of the country may experience cloudy conditions, there is a possibility of light to moderate rainfall accompanied by lightning in certain regions of Koshi, Gandaki, Lumbini, and Sudurpaschim provinces.
As the day progresses into the afternoon, the weather will continue to be partly to generally cloudy nationwide. The Meteorological Forecasting Division has advised caution, as there is a possibility of light to moderate rainfall with the risk of lightning in specific areas of Koshi, Gandaki, Lumbini, and Sudurpaschim provinces. Residents in other provinces should also be vigilant, as a few places may experience similar conditions.
During the night, the entire country is expected to experience generally cloudy conditions. In the hilly regions of all provinces, there is a possibility of light to moderate rain accompanied by lightning at a few places. Likewise, some regions in the remaining areas might also witness isolated instances of light to moderate rainfall with the risk of lightning.
Furthermore, the Meteorological Forecasting Division has alerted residents of Koshi, Gandaki, Lumbini, and Sudurpaschim provinces to the potential of heavy rainfall accompanied by lightning in some areas. Proper precautionary measures should be taken in these regions to mitigate any adverse impacts caused by the heavy rain.
