Top Political Leaders Convene at Prime Minister’s Residence

Leaders from the three major political parties in Nepal are currently engaged in a high-level meeting at the Prime Minister’s official residence in Baluwatar. The gathering includes Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda,’ Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba, and CPN (UML) Chairman KP Sharma Oli.

The primary focus of the meeting is to deliberate on crucial issues related to the Act on Commission on Investigation of Disappeared Persons, Truth and Reconciliation (TRC), and the outstanding tasks of the peace process. This gathering underscores the commitment of the top leaders to address pressing national concerns and advance the reconciliation and peace-building efforts in the country.

The PM’s Secretariat has confirmed the presence of key figures at the meeting, including Deputy Prime Minister and Defence Minister Purna Bahadur Khadka, along with second-tier leaders representing the three political parties.
