Tragic Bus Accident in Kapilvastu Claims 10 Lives, Leaves 30 Injured

A devastating bus accident near Shivraj Municipality-1 Surahi Bridge in Kapilvastu has resulted in the loss of 10 lives and left 30 individuals injured. The accident occurred early this morning when a bus bearing the registration number Su-P-P-02-001 B 0098, operated by Sunaulo Mahakali Transport, veered off the road and plunged two hundred meters downhill.

Kapilvastu District Police Office confirmed that 10 individuals lost their lives on the spot, with their identities yet to be ascertained. Police Inspector Navratna Paudel of the District Police Office reported that among the injured, nine have been urgently referred to Butwal for advanced medical treatment. The remaining injured individuals are currently receiving medical attention at Sanjeevani and Basic Hospital.

The tragic incident has left the local community in shock and mourning. Authorities are conducting investigations to determine the cause of the accident and provide necessary support to the affected families.
