Two dead in Jhapa road mishaps

Two persons died in separate road accidents in the Jhapa district last night. A person died after a motorcycle (Pradesh 1-01-016 Pa 899) hit pedestrian Gopal Rai, 40, at Campus Mode in Damak-9 along the East-West Highway.
The next one is critically injured. Police said that Rai died while receiving treatment at Biratnagar-based Neuro Hospital.
Likewise, a tipper knocked a girl to death in Bhadrapur on Thursday. The District Traffic Police, Office, said 11-year-old Shilpa Rishidev of Bhadrapur Municipality-7 died in the accident. During the time of the accident, Shilpa was cycling from Garment Chowk to the Haldibari area.
Police said that critically injured in the mishap, Shilpa died at B and C Hospital, Birtamod.
