Two killed in Myagdi Jeep accident
Two persons were killed in a jeep accident at Nepane of Annapurna rural municipality-5 in Myagdi district.
The accident took place when a jeep (Ga 1 Ja 7653) heading towards Paudwar from Pokharebagar on Sunday night fell some 200 meters off the road.
The bodies of jeep owner and driver Ganesh Shrestha, 37, and Lal Bahadur Tilija, 27, of Paudwar, were found at the incident site, said ward member of Annapurna rural municipality-5, Purna Paija.
The jeep was found stuck in a cliff around 8:00 am today in course of searching for the vehicle after getting the information that the jeep heading towards Pokharebagar on Sunday night did not reach the destination, he added.
Deputy Superintendent of Police Madan Kunwar shared that police teams from Ghara and Bhurung Tatopani have reached the incident site and started collecting bodies and investigating into the incident. RSS
