Two Lives Lost, Nine Injured in Baglung Jeep Accident
In a devastating road accident that transpired on Saturday, a jeep en route from Burtibang to Dhorpatan overturned in Pyangkhola of Dhorpatan Rural Municipality, resulting in the loss of two lives and leaving nine others injured.
The victims have been identified as the jeep driver, Tilak Gharti, and 28-year-old Sangita Adhikari, who tragically lost their lives in the mishap. The incident occurred early in the morning, prompting a swift response from local authorities and emergency services.
Police Inspector Deepak Babu KC provided details about the incident, revealing that all those on board were residents of Chandragiri. The injured individuals are currently receiving medical attention at the Burtibang-based Primary Health Centre, with six of them reported to be in critical condition.
