Two Tanzanian Nationals Arrested in Kathmandu with Cocaine

Police arrested two Tanzanian nationals in Kathmandu on Saturday for possession of cocaine. Ramadhani Simba Mwabumba, 52, and Twalib Kipevu Pashuwa, 56, were apprehended at Hotel Gallery in Thamel.

Authorities seized a total of 1 kg 247 grams 76 milligrams of cocaine from the suspects. Ramadhani was found in possession of 606.55 grams of cocaine concealed in 35 capsules inside a juice carton in room number 204. Twalib had 641.21 grams of cocaine hidden in 37 capsules inside a juice carton in room number 205.

The Anti-Narcotics Bureau has obtained a remand extension from the Kathmandu District Court to continue the investigation.
