UAE Ambassador Meets PM Oli, Extends Invitation to World Governments Summit
The Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to Nepal, Abdulla Al Shamsi, paid a courtesy visit to Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli at the Prime Minister’s official residence in Baluwatar today.
During the meeting, Ambassador Shamsi presented a formal invitation from UAE Vice President and Prime Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, inviting PM Oli to participate in the World Governments Summit scheduled to take place in Dubai in the second week of February 2025.
Discussions during the meeting focused on strengthening Nepal-UAE bilateral relations and exploring areas of mutual interest, including trade, investment, agriculture, hydropower, and tourism, according to a statement from the Prime Minister’s Secretariat.
The leaders also reviewed the progress of prior bilateral agreements and emphasized their effective implementation to enhance cooperation between the two countries.
