UK Condemns Israel’s Decision to Establish 13 New Settlements in Occupied West Bank

The United Kingdom condemned Israel’s decision to create 13 new settlements in the occupied West Bank. “Settlements harm security for both Palestinians and Israelis and violate international law,” UK Minister for the Middle East Hamish Falconer said. He urged the Israeli government to crack down on settler violence, stop settlement expansion, and reject the annexation of the West Bank.
The Israeli Security Cabinet had approved a plan a few days ago to separate and legalize 13 settlement outposts in the occupied West Bank.
