UML is free from illusion that power is ultimate truth: Chair Oli
CPN (UML) Chairperson KP Sharma Oli has said his party is free from the illusion of making any compromise for power and keeping aside its own values and ideals, thinking power as the ultimate truth.
Mentioning about ‘national politics, new power coalition, opportunity and challenges after the election’ in the context of ‘Mission Grassroots’ campaign launched by the CPN (UML) for strengthening party organisation, Chair Oli shared formation of federal government and provincial government in the power balance of political parties based on consensus on December 25 was a political change in the national politics.
He opined that the government has already unveiled its policy-level priorities and common minimum programmes, and a positive impact has been seen in the share market.
Arguing that the activities carried out by the incumbent government are positive, UML Chair Oli claimed that attempts have been made to push the country towards instability by breaking the existing ruling alliance which he said would weaken the democracy.
He further said the CPN (UML) is always active to establish political stability in the country, to strengthen democracy as well as to take the people towards the path of good-governance and prosperity.
Chair Oli stated that the politics based on conspiracy and betrayal would not last long.
