‘UML Ready to Collaborate on Crucial National Matters’

KP Sharma Oli, the Chairman of the CPN-UML, expressed his party’s readiness to cooperate with the government on crucial matters concerning the nation. Oli underscored his party’s unwavering commitment to advancing Nepal’s interests and supporting government initiatives aimed at national development, regardless of the stance taken by other political entities.

However, Chairman Oli made it explicitly clear that he stands opposed to any governmental decisions that could potentially have adverse consequences for the country, particularly in matters relating to treaties and agreements. He emphasized the vital importance of transparent and well-informed decision-making processes, especially when dealing with issues involving Nepal’s neighboring countries. Oli stressed that for the nation’s benefit, it is imperative that the government uphold its responsibility in making decisions that are transparent, fair, and aligned with the best interests of Nepal’s citizens.

During a comprehensive discussion centered on Nepal’s foreign policy, Chairman Oli criticized the approach adopted during Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal’s recent visit to India. Oli asserted that the agreements reached during the visit appeared to prioritize power dynamics over the welfare and prosperity of the nation.
