UML Secretariat Approves Political Report Ahead of Central Committee Meeting

The CPN-UML secretariat has endorsed a political report prepared by Prime Minister and Party Chair KP Sharma Oli, which will be presented at the upcoming central committee meeting on January 5-6.

Deputy Secretary General Pradip Gyawali stated that Thursday’s meeting at the party’s central office in Lalitpur reviewed the key points of the report. The document covers various topics, including an analysis of national and international political developments and an evaluation of the government’s performance under Prime Minister Oli’s leadership.

Gyawali emphasized that the government must prioritize public services, development, and economic progress. He also highlighted the importance of collaboration between the UML and the Nepali Congress in addressing nine critical areas, including constitutional amendments, implementation, passage of pending parliamentary bills, and revising or introducing laws to align with constitutional provisions.

The report underlines the coalition government’s success in fostering political stability and mutual trust between the two ruling parties, setting a foundation for future governance and legislative priorities.
