UML Submits Policy and Budget Suggestions to Prime Minister Oli

The ruling CPN (UML) has submitted its recommendations for the government’s upcoming policies, programmes, and budget to Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli.
UML General Secretary Shanker Pokhrel, accompanied by senior party leaders, handed over the suggestion letter to PM Oli at the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers in Singha Durbar today.
General Secretary Pokhrel noted that although similar suggestions were presented after Oli’s appointment, the latest submission reflects updates following the prior government’s presentation of policies and budget. He emphasized the importance of incorporating proposals previously offered during the party’s Sankalp Yatra focused on the Mid-Hill (Pushpalal) Highway.
Prime Minister Oli welcomed the input, stating that recommendations from a visionary party like the UML—especially those rooted in the expertise of its central departments—would play a valuable role in shaping the upcoming fiscal policies and budget.
