Unified Socialist to elect delegates to general convention
The CPN (Unified Socialist) is going to elect delegates for its upcoming 10th General Convention.
Party Secretary Jeevan Ram Shrestha shared that the party has instructed the subordinate central bodies, provincial and district committees and other committees to recommend the list of delegates before the deadline and send them to the center. The selection will take place from coming Baisakh 15 to 22.
All the committees are required to recommend representatives based on the evaluation of the contribution and performance of the respective leaders in the organization and inform the members of their jurisdiction through a meeting.
The party has set a deadline for all the leaders who will participate in the general convention to renew the party membership by mid-April.
Meanwhile, the Party’s Special Provincial Liaison Committee has instructed seven subordinate provincial Liaison Committees and 74 District Liaison Forums to send suggestions for documents to be presented at the general convention.
The party is going to hold its general convention in Kathmandu from coming Jetha 3 to 7.
