US Deputy Assistant Secretary Holds Talks with Foreign Secretary Lamsal

Deputy Assistant Secretary for South and Central Asian Affairs of the US Department of State, Afreen Akhtar, engaged in discussions with Foreign Secretary Sewa Lamsal during her visit to Kathmandu today.
The meeting centered around various facets of bilateral cooperation, including ongoing initiatives, mutual support in international platforms, and the exploration of future collaborative opportunities between Nepal and the United States.
Afreen Akhtar, who oversees Nepal, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Bhutan, and the Maldives under the Bureau of South and Central Asian Affairs (SCA) as well as the Office of Security and Transnational Affairs, arrived in Kathmandu to bolster diplomatic ties between the two nations.
