US Embassy in India celebrates Indian Republic day with musical rendition of ‘Vande Mataram’
A special musical tribute was extended by the US embassy in India as India commemorates its 74th Republic Day.
On Thursday, the Embassy of the United States of America celebrated the day with the rendition of the national song Vande Mataram.
United States officers Raghavan and Stephanie teamed up with Pavithra Chari, a GRAMMY’s nominated singer.
The Embassy tweeted from its official twitter handle: “Happy 74th Republic Day, India! We are celebrating #RepublicDay with a rendition of 🇮🇳 national song Vande Mataram! US Officers Raghavan (flute) & Stephanie (guitar) team up with @pavithra_chari, singer featured on a 2023 #GRAMMYs nominated album & a @StateDept @1beatmusic alum! (SIC).”

Earlier today on the occasion of Republic Day, the State secretary Antony Blinken wished India “the friendship between India and the United States is simply one of the most consequential in the world.”
