US envoy pays courtesy call on newly-appointed Foreign Minister

US Ambassador Dean Richard Thompson paid a courtesy call on the newly appointed Foreign Minister NP Saud.

They held a meeting at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Singha Durbar on Tuesday.

According to the Secretariat of Minister Saud, relations between the two countries were discussed during the meeting.

Similarly, Ambassador Thompson congratulated Minister Saud and wished him a successful tenure.

Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal on Sunday appointed NP Saud, as the foreign affairs minister of the country.

President Ram Chandra Paudel administered the oath of office and secrecy to the newly appointed Foreign Affairs Minister NP Saud at the president’s office.
