
Verdict Expected Today in Lalita Niwas Land-Grab Case


The eagerly anticipated verdict in the Lalita Niwas land-grab case is slated to be announced today by the Special Court. This follows the conclusion of the hearing on Tuesday, as confirmed by Dhan Bahadur Karki, spokesperson for the special court.
The case has garnered significant attention due to its involvement of prominent figures, including former Deputy Prime Minister Bijay Kumar Gachhadar, former Minister Chandra Dev Joshi, and Min Bahadur Gurung, the proprietor of Bhatbhateni.
Initially filed by the Commission for Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) on Magh 22, 2076 BS, the case alleges the unlawful transfer of government land ownership to private individuals.
