Voting ends in vice-presidential election, result in few hours

Voting has concluded in the vice-presidential election held on Friday.

Voting in the election began at the Parliament building in New Baneshwor, Kathmandu at 10 AM and ended at 3 PM.

Preparations are underway to start vote counting after the voting ended.

According to Amrita Kumari Sharma, Assistant Returning officer at the  President and Vice President Election Officer’s Office, 311 Federal Parliament members, and 518 PA members cast votes by the deadline for the election at 3 pm in the vice presidential election.
