Ward Chair of Duhu Rural Municipality-5 Passes Away

Manorath Bhatta, the ward chair of Duhu Rural Municipality-5 in Darchula district, has died. Bhatta, 48, who complained of a constant headache, died on the way to a hospital in Dhangadhi, Kailali, said the family.
Prior to this, he visited the District Hospital and was hospitalized. Later, the hospital referred him to Dhangadhi, said Rajesh Bhatta, the information officer for the district hospital.
His body was kept in the district hospital, and his last rites would be performed today itself, it has been informed. He was elected the ward chair from the local elections on 13 May, 2022.
