Weather Forecast Predicts Cloudy Skies and Rainfall Across Nepal

The Department of Hydrology and Meteorology has forecasted cloudy weather and rainfall in various regions of Nepal for today. Influenced by the monsoon winds and a low-pressure system, the country is expected to experience significant weather activity.

According to the latest weather bulletin released by the Department, the Koshi, Madhes, and Bagmati provinces will see generally to fully cloudy skies, while the rest of the provinces will be partly to generally cloudy. Light to moderate rainfall is already occurring in some areas of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, Lumbini, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim provinces.

The forecast indicates that the entire country will remain generally cloudy throughout the day. There are chances of light to moderate rain, accompanied by thunder and lightning, in various places across Koshi, Madhes, Bagmati, Gandaki, Lumbini, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim provinces.

The Department also warned that heavy rainfall is likely in one or two locations within the Bagmati, Gandaki, Lumbini, and Sudurpaschim provinces. Tonight, light to moderate rainfall is expected in several places across Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, Lumbini, and Sudurpaschim provinces, with heavy rainfall predicted in one or two spots in Koshi, Gandaki, Lumbini, and Sudurpaschim provinces.

In light of these conditions, the Department has urged all residents and concerned parties to remain vigilant and take necessary safety precautions.
