Woman Arrested for Kidnapping Infant from Paropakar Maternity Hospital
The Kathmandu District Police have made a significant breakthrough in the case of the abduction of a 26-day-old baby from the Paropakar Maternity and Women’s Hospital. The authorities have confirmed the arrest of Man Kumari Singh, a 24-year-old resident of Kandaghari, Kathmandu, originally hailing from Namune Rural Municipality-1.
According to Navraj Adhikari, the spokesperson for the District Police Range, Kathmandu, Singh stands accused of allegedly kidnapping the infant from the hospital premises. The arrest follows a swift and coordinated effort by law enforcement in response to the distressing incident that occurred on Friday.
Following the successful rescue operation led by the authorities, the abducted baby has been safely reunited with the family. Currently, the infant is under medical care at Kathmandu Medical College, where they are receiving necessary treatment.
