Shekhar Koirala Calls for Unity Between NC and UML for National Betterment

Nepali Congress leader Shekhar Koirala has underscored the significance of unity between CPN-UML and the Nepali Congress for the advancement of the nation.

Addressing a gathering, Koirala emphasized the need for collaboration between the two major political parties, stating that a unified approach would effectively serve the country’s interests.

“I have consistently advocated for unity between the two largest parties in parliament,” Koirala remarked, stressing the importance of prioritizing national welfare over individual or party interests.

Speaking at a party event in Dang, Koirala highlighted that the absence of unity among political parties has led to a sense of distrust among citizens.

He urged leaders to prioritize national interests above personal and party agendas, expressing concern over the prevailing trend of self-interest and party-centric politics.
