21-member Parliament Regulations Drafting Committee formed
The House of Representatives formed a committee to draft Parliament regulations.
In today’s HoR meeting, a 21-member Committee was formed. On the occasion, lawmaker Devendra Poudel tabled a proposal with the namelist of members of the committee, saying Parliament Regulations Drafting Committee should be formed. The meeting unanimously passed the proposal.
Anita Devi, Amaresh Kumar Singh, Ganga Ram Chaudhary, Chitra Bahadur KC, Jeevan Pariyar, Dilendra Prasad Badu, Nagina Yadav, Prakash Jwala, Pradeep Yadav, Prem Suwal are the members of the Committee.
Similarly, Mahesh Kumar Bartaula, Ramesh Lekhak, Leela Nath Shrestha, Bidya Bhattarai, Shakti Bahadur Basnet, Sarbendra Nath Sukla, Sita Gurung, Subas Chandra Nembang, Sobita Gautam, Hitraj Pandey and Gyan Bahadur Shahi are also the members of the Committee.
The Committee has been given 15 days to draft the regulations. Meanwhile, Speaker Devraj Ghimire briefed the House that Krishna Gopal Shrestha would chair and run the HoR meeting in absence of Speaker and Bimala Subedi in absence of Deputy-Speaker.
