4.2 Magnitude Earthquake Hits Thoche, Manang

An earthquake measuring 4.2 on the Richter scale was recorded early this morning in the Thoche area of Manang. The National Earthquake Measurement and Research Center in Lainchaur reported that the tremor occurred at 3:47 a.m., with its epicenter near Thoche in Manang.

This event follows a recent earthquake on August 13, when a 4.3 magnitude tremor struck near Masadev in Bajhang.
