641 benefitted from two-day health camp at Barpak
Altogether 641 people from Barpak Suikot Rural Municipality ward no 1 in Gorkha district have benefitted from a two-day free health camp.
The camp set up at the Barpak Health post with the technical assistance of Gorkha Hospital and Green City Hospital provided free blood tests and other services, such as ECG and video X-ray among others, said Chairperson of Barpak Sulikot Rural Municipality, Bishnu Prasad Bhatta.
Various organizations, such as Mutu Foundation, Manoj Association, and Namaste France Grenoble University provided financial assistance for the camp. As many as 170 persons had their sugar test conducted, 81 ECG test, 180 video X-rays and 124 underwent the lab test, said the coordinator of the camp, Dhan Bahadur Gurung.
Patients with another chronic ailment also visited the camp for check-ups in the camp run in support of the local level and local community, it was said.
A medical team comprising gynaecologists at the Gorkha Hospital, Dikshya Poudyal, Dr Anirudra Thapaliya, Dr Nidan Rawal of Green City Hospital and Dr Roshan Bhakti among others examined the patients, informed coordinator Gurung.
