By-elections in Tanahun-1 and Bara-2 on April 23

The Election Commission has announced the by-elections in Tanahun-1 and Bara-2 on April 23.

The constituencies in Tanahun and Bara are vacant as representatives from these constituencies have recently been elected the president and vice president of the country respectively, thereby requiring themselves to resign from the House.

Ram Chandra Paudal was earlier elected as a member of parliament from Tanahun-1 and Ram Sahay Prasad Yadav  from Bara 2 during the recently held general elections on November 20.
