Cabinet Now Complete: JSP’s Mahato appointed as Minister for Forest and Environment

President Ram Chandra Paudel has made two crucial appointments to the cabinet, thereby completing its formation. The expansion came following Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’s initiative to include members from the Janata Samajbadi Party (JSP) on Tuesday.

The President’s Office officially announced the appointment of Birendra Prasad Mahato as the Minister for Forests and Environment, while Pramila Kumari Yadav has been entrusted with the position of Minister of State for Education, Science, and Technology.

Mahato won the election and became a member of the House of Representatives from Siraha-4 constituency.

Yadav, on the other hand, became a lawmaker through the proportional representation (PR) electoral system.
