Swiss Ambassador Pays Farewell Visit to PM Prachanda

Elisabeth von Capeller, the Ambassador of Switzerland, paid a farewell call on the Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ today. The meeting held at the Prime Minister’s official residence focused on strengthening the bilateral relations and cooperation between Nepal and Switzerland.

During the cordial meeting, Ambassador von Capeller expressed her gratitude for the warm reception and hospitality she received during her tenure as the Swiss Ambassador to Nepal. She commended the strong and enduring ties between the two nations and the progress made in various areas of collaboration.

Prime Minister Prachanda reciprocated the Ambassador’s sentiments, acknowledging the significant role Switzerland has played in supporting Nepal’s development efforts. He praised the long-standing friendship between the two countries and expressed his optimism for further enhancing the cooperation in sectors such as trade, tourism, education, and technology.
