8th Kantipur-HISSAN Education Fair on June 15

The Eighth Kantipur-HISSAN (Higher Institutions and Secondary Schools’ Association Nepal) Education Fair-2023 is taking place at Bhrikuti Mandap Exhibition Hall in Kathmandu from June 15.

With the motto ‘Excellent Education in Nepal’, the four-day fair will provide information about educational institutions and courses targeting children who have appeared in the higher secondary exams and are awaiting results, it is said.

The festival is useful to get information about the best colleges at home in the context that students are being attracted to pursue higher education in foreign countries, said the fair coordinator Tanka Raj Acharya.

The fair expects the participation of more than 75 educational institutions from across the country affiliated with the Kathmandu University, the Pokhara University, the Purbanchal University, the Mid-West University and the Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training, and over 200,000 visitors. The entry fees are free, and scholarships, full and partial, have been managed for over 1,000 students, he said.
