Two Die in Separate Road Accidents in Sunsari
Two individuals lost their lives in separate road accidents in Sunsari. In the first incident, one person died, and three others sustained injuries in a road accident at Malpot Chowk in Dharan Sub Metropolitan City-6, as reported by the police. The deceased has been identified as Padam Bahadur Limbu, 34, from Kerabari Rural Municipality-5 in Morang district. Sadly, he succumbed to his injuries at Dharan-based BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences, according to Deputy Superintendent of Police Nabin Krishna Bhandari.
The accident occurred when a tempo (Ko 2 Ha 5565) skidded off the road, resulting in the tragic incident. All four injured individuals are currently undergoing treatment at the hospital, informed Bhandari. The police have initiated a search operation to locate the absconding driver of the tempo.
In a separate incident, another man lost his life after being hit by a motorcycle (Ba 27 Pa 8701) in Inaruwa, Sunsari. The deceased, identified as Bal Kumar Khatiwada, 60, from Inaruwa-3, passed away at Biratnagar-based Nobel Hospital, as confirmed by the police.
