Nepalese Top Leaders Extend Warm Wishes on India’s 75th Republic Day
As India celebrates its 75th Republic Day, the occasion is not just confined to its borders but resonates with warmth and well wishes from its neighbors, particularly Nepal. The Indian Embassy in Kathmandu hosted a special program, bringing together dignitaries, top government officials, and political leaders to mark the significance of the day.
Prime Minister of Nepal, Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda,’ conveyed his heartfelt wishes to his Indian counterpart, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the Government of India, and the people of India through a social media post. In his message, Prime Minister Dahal wished Prime Minister Modi and the citizens of India good health, peace, and prosperity, expressing optimism about the strengthening ties between Nepal and India.
“On the occasion of the 75th Republic Day of India, I extend my best wishes to PM Shri @narendramodi ji, the government, and the friendly people of India for good health, peace, and prosperity. I am confident that the ties of friendship between our countries will continue to grow further,” Prime Minister Dahal stated on his official social media account.

Joining the chorus of well-wishers, Foreign Minister NP Saud took to ‘X’ to extend greetings to Dr S Jaishankar, External Affairs Minister of India. “While India celebrates this special day, I convey my best wishes for its continued progress and prosperity as well as the further strengthening of Nepal-India friendship,” he expressed.
