UML’s Gaire elected HoR member from Palpa-2

Thakur Prasad Gaire of the CPN (UML) has been elected to the House of Representatives from Palpa constituency 2. He obtained 27,817 votes.
Gaire’s closest rival Som Prasad Pandey of the CPN (Unified Socialist), a common candidate from the left-democratic alliance, received 23,851 votes, according to Chief of the District Election Office, Palpa, Rukmangat Aryal.
Similarly, Som Prasad Gaire of the Rastriya Swatantra Party got 5,180 votes.
