British Ambassador Meets Vice-President
British Ambassador to Nepal, Robert Dominic Russell Fenn, paid a courtesy visit to Vice-President Ram Sahay Prasad Yadav today to discuss enhancing the longstanding friendly relations between Nepal and the United Kingdom.
During the meeting at the Office of the Vice-President, both parties conversed on ways to bolster the bilateral ties and promote mutual interests in the future. The Vice-President’s Secretariat indicated that discussions emphasized both political and economic cooperation, cultural exchange, and strengthening people-to-people ties.
Vice-President Yadav highlighted the UK’s role as a significant development partner and commended the dynamic friendship that spans various levels including international cooperation in fields such as peacekeeping, climate action, and women’s empowerment through global platforms like the United Nations.
Furthermore, VP Yadav requested Ambassador Fenn to extend Nepal’s greetings and well wishes for the health of King Charles. In response, Ambassador Fenn expressed the UK’s commitment to continue its support across different sectors in Nepal.
The meeting underscored the shared interests and commitment to deepening the historical and fruitful relationship between the two nations.
