Former Swiss President Joseph Deis in Kathmandu

Former President Joseph Deis of Switzerland touched down in Kathmandu last night for a five-day private visit to Nepal.

His arrival via Qatar Airways flight QR 644, connecting through Doha, was marked by anticipation as he stepped onto Nepali soil at 1:00 pm.

Deis is set to explore the cultural and scenic wonders of Nepal during his stay, with plans to return home via Doha on Saturday night.
