On Sunday, Kathmandu Metropolitan City (KMC) took a decisive step in reclaiming public space by demolishing illegal structures that had encroached upon road areas at Gaushala.
With a firm stance against unauthorized constructions, the local government deployed a bulldozer at Gaushala Chowk to dismantle the encroachments, sending a clear message of adherence to urban planning regulations.
Prior to the action, KMC had issued a 35-day notice urging the removal of illegal structures in the Gaushala Chowk vicinity, demonstrating its commitment to maintaining order and safety in the city’s infrastructure.
