This delay in the monsoon onset is contributing to the sweltering conditions.

Dipayal experienced a high of 36.6 degrees Celsius, Dhangadhi reached 41 degrees Celsius, Sadepani of Kailali recorded a scorching 42.5 degrees Celsius, Nepalgunj saw temperatures climb to 41.2 degrees Celsius, and Bhairahawa hit 38.6 degrees Celsius today.

Weather Conditions Across the Country

According to the Meteorological Forecasting Division, Koshi Province and the hilly regions of the country are experiencing partly to generally cloudy weather. Meanwhile, the rest of the country is seeing partly cloudy to mainly fair conditions.

As the country braces for continued high temperatures, residents are advised to stay hydrated, avoid direct sunlight during peak hours, and take necessary precautions to protect themselves from the extreme heat.
