Oli Calls for Civilized Politics
In a recent interaction with journalists at Bharatpur Airport, Chairman of the UML, KP Sharma Oli, emphasized the importance of conducting politics in a civilized manner. Addressing concerns raised by the opposition regarding various issues, Oli urged for fair political practices and cautioned against unnecessary controversies.
Responding to inquiries regarding the Giribandu tea estate land dispute in Jhapa, Chairman Oli stressed the significance of fair political engagement, highlighting the need to avoid sensationalizing issues for political gain.
Amidst speculation surrounding the stability of the coalition government, Oli reassured that the coalition would complete its term and dismissed rumors of any imminent changes. He emphasized the coalition’s commitment to serving the nation until the upcoming elections.
Reflecting on past diplomatic engagements, Oli mentioned the tradition of Nepalese Prime Ministers attending the oath-taking ceremonies of Indian Prime Ministers. He confirmed the participation of this year’s Prime Minister in the upcoming ceremony, reinforcing the importance of bilateral relations.
Addressing criticism of the budget, Chairman Oli clarified UML’s stance, asserting that constructive suggestions for budget improvement should not be misconstrued as criticism. He reiterated the party’s objective of advocating for a stronger budget implementation process for the benefit of the nation.
