SEE Results Expected Thursday

The Office of the Controller of Examination of the National Examination Board is gearing up to announce this year’s Secondary Education Examination (SEE) results ahead of schedule, possibly by Thursday.

Controller of Examinations for Grade 10, Nandalal Paudel, has confirmed that all necessary preparations for releasing the results are in their final stages. This includes the completion of evaluating answer sheets, entering marks, and resolving any discrepancies.

In a statement, Controller Paudel mentioned, “The board’s plan is to publish the results by June 28. However, efforts are underway to release them earlier, by Thursday.”

He highlighted the concerted efforts of staff across 52 evaluation centers involved in assessing answer sheets, with remaining tasks being managed at the office itself.

Last year, the SEE results were announced on July 9. This year’s results will be released separately for theoretical and practical components. Students scoring below 35 percent (27 out of 75 marks) in the theoretical exams will receive a Non-Graded (NG) status.

The SEE exams commenced on March 28, with 467,000 regular examinees and 21,000 re-takers participating to improve their grades.
