PM Prachanda Mourns Lives Lost in Landslides and Floods
Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ expressed deep sorrow over the significant loss of lives and property across the country due to landslides and floods. Speaking at today’s House of Representatives meeting, he was particularly saddened by the news of around 60 passengers missing after landslides swept away two passenger buses at Simtal on the Narayangadh-Muglin road section early this morning.
PM Dahal has directed all government bodies, including the Home Administration, to conduct search operations and ensure the effective rescue of the missing passengers. He urged the federal, provincial, and local governments to collaborate on systematic disaster management and risk reduction, emphasizing the need for coordinated rescue and relief efforts during the active monsoon season.
