Two people are missing after an auto-rickshaw (Ra. 6 Ha 4055) was swept away by the Bechani River in Tulsipur Municipality-4. The incident occurred while the vehicle was en route to Khadrai from Tulsipur.
According to Police Inspector Prakash Thapa of the Area Police Office in Tulsipur, the missing individuals have been identified as 55-year-old local resident Sita Ale and 16-year-old Manju Khadka from Surkhet.
“The search for the missing persons is currently underway,” Inspector Thapa said. The police, along with local search and rescue teams, are making efforts to locate the individuals.
