Nepal Expresses Confidence in Bangladesh’s Transition Towards Peace and Stability

The Government of Nepal has expressed its belief that Bangladesh will successfully navigate its way towards peace and stability amid recent political unrest. In a press statement issued on Wednesday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs emphasized Nepal’s close monitoring of the unfolding political developments in Bangladesh.

“We are deeply concerned about the loss of lives and properties during the protests over the last few weeks in Bangladesh. We convey our sincere condolences and sympathies to the families of those who lost lives and wish all those injured a speedy and full recovery,” the statement read.
