Actor Anmol KC Arrested

Popular Nepali actor Anmol KC has been arrested by the Valley Crime Investigation Office in Kathmandu on charges of criminal treachery. This shocking development comes after a criminal complaint was filed against KC by a producer group regarding the film titled “Ravayan.”

According to SP Rabindra Regmi, KC was apprehended in Sanga by the investigative team. The complaint alleges that KC accepted a sum of Rs 10 lakh via bank transfer with the promise of participating in the film but later reneged on his commitment.

SSP Somendra Singh Rathore, the Chief of Kathmandu Valley Crime Investigation Office, disclosed that the production side of the film had already invested a staggering amount of 1 crore 5 lakh rupees. Despite numerous attempts to engage KC in discussions following the complaint, he failed to cooperate.

SSP Rathore explained, “After the complaint, he did not come despite being called for discussion several times. After that, we issued an arrest warrant and took him into custody.”

The arrest of the popular actor has sent shockwaves through the entertainment industry, and legal proceedings are expected to follow as the case unfolds.
