Amit Shah at Birla Mandir, Rajnath Singh’s Home Worship on Pran Pratishtha Occasion

India’s Union Home Minister Amit Shah and Defence Minister Rajnath Singh marked the auspicious occasion of the Pran Pratishtha ceremony at the Ram Temple in Ayodhya with prayers and devotions.

Home Minister Amit Shah offered prayers at Shri Laxmi Narayan Temple, also known as Birla Mandir, in the national capital. Meanwhile, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh conducted worship and prayers at his residence, sharing a picture on social media with the caption, “On the historic day of ‘Pran Pratishtha,’ I did worship and offered prayer at home. Jai Shri Ram!”

The main event took place in Ayodhya, where the idol of Ram Lalla was unveiled at the Ram Temple. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, and Governor Anandi Ben Patel were present at the ceremony. Prime Minister Modi, who arrived earlier in the day, walked into the sanctum sanctorum of the temple, holding a silver umbrella on a folded red dupatta.

The Pran Pratishtha ceremony, led by Prime Minister Modi, was conducted with deep devotion, and the atmosphere resonated with the chanting of ‘Jai Sri Ram.’ Over 8,000 guests, including representatives of major spiritual and religious sects, attended the grand ceremony. The historic event also witnessed participation from people representing various tribal communities.

Prime Minister Modi is set to address the distinguished gathering on this momentous occasion, emphasizing the unity and inclusivity represented by the ceremony that brings together people from all walks of life and diverse backgrounds.
