Ananda’s Family Devastated by Heartbreaking Israel News

The Sah family of Laxminiya Rural Municipality-4 in Dhanusha, Nepal, is mourning the tragic death of their beloved son, Ananda Sah, in the recent attack on Israel by the Palestinian radical group Hamas.

Ananda, a bright 25-year-old with dreams as vast as the sky, had fought against all odds to pursue an education and a future that held promise. His journey was marked by the unwavering support of his family, especially his father, Soman Sah, who toiled for a decade to make Ananda’s dreams come true.

Ananda’s pursuit of knowledge was a beacon of hope for his family and community. He had a humble beginning, passing his SLC from Angel’s Boarding School in Janakpur. With determination and resilience, he continued his studies, choosing science at Mit College in Janakpur and later enrolling in a B.Sc. in Agriculture program at Tikapur Multiple Campus, Kailali, under Sudurpaschim University.

After years of dedication and hard work, the college recognized his potential and sent him to Israel for practical experience. Ananda embarked on his journey to Israel on September 14th, filled with hope for the future.

Despite the physical distance, Ananda remained deeply connected to his family. He would make regular video calls, cherishing conversations with his mother, Shubhakali, and his sisters. On their last call, just days before the tragedy, Ananda expressed concern for his sister Saraswati’s health, showing the deep love he held for his family.

Tragedy struck when news of the attack in Israel involving Nepalese citizens reached the Sah family. Their world crumbled as they desperately tried to reach Ananda, fearing the worst. The phone rang unanswered, and their anguish grew.

The heart-wrenching moment came when the call arrived, confirming Ananda’s death. The family’s patience had shattered, and they were left to cope with an unimaginable loss.

Before his departure to Israel, Ananda had made a promise to his beloved grandmother, Basmatia Devi. He assured her that he would build a grand house and find happiness in marriage after completing his studies. These dreams, shared between a grandson and his grandmother, now remain unfulfilled.
