Another Dengue Death Reported in Bharatpur
A 41-year-old man from Chanauli, Bharatpur Metropolitan City-20, has succumbed to dengue infection, marking another fatality in the district. The man passed away on Tuesday while undergoing treatment at Bharatpur Hospital.
According to Dr. Kalyan Sapkota, a senior physician at the hospital, the patient was admitted on Friday with a high fever and was placed on ventilator support due to the severity of his condition. He suffered from a severe case of dengue, which led to multi-organ failure and excessive internal bleeding, ultimately resulting in his death.
This is the second dengue-related death reported in the district within a few days. On Saturday, a 63-year-old man from Bharatpur-2 died from dengue at Chitwan Medical College.
The rise in dengue cases and fatalities has raised concerns among health authorities in the region.
