Bhaktapur Hospital has been recognized as the best-performing health service provider among 13 hospitals in Bagamati Province. The hospital received the Award of Excellence based on the province-level annual review of health office performances for the fiscal year 2080-81 (2023-24), conducted by the Ministry of Health, Bagamati Province.
Chief Minister Bahadur Singh Lama and Province Health Minister Kiran Thapa presented the award and certificate to the hospital in a ceremony, Hospital Director Dr. Sumitra Gautam told the RSS today.
The review meeting, which concluded on Wednesday, highlighted Bhaktapur Hospital’s continued excellence, as it had previously also received the Award of Excellence. Dr. Gautam also shared that the hospital is set to launch MRI services next month, further enhancing its capabilities.
