BJP foreign affairs chief Chauthaiwale in Kathmandu, busy in high-level meetings
India’s ruling Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) foreign affairs department in-charge ,Vijay Chauthaiwale, who arrived in Dhangadhi, Nepal on Sunday, is busy in Kathmandu on Tuesday.
Chauthaiwale, who arrived in Dhangadhi by road to participate in the International Manaskhand Conference in Sudurpaschim Province is busy in holding political meetings with Nepali leaders today.
Chauthaiwale on Tuesday paid a courtesy call to Former Nepal Prime Minister and the Nepali Congress president Sher Bahadur Deuba, Former Nepal Prime Minister and CPN (Unified Socialist) Chairperson, Madhav Kumar Nepal and Deputy Prime Minister and Home Minister Narayan Kaji Shrestha .

Writing on the social media Twitter after the meeting, BJP’s foreign affairs department in-charge said that the three leaders stressed on strengthening India-Nepal relations and party-to-party interaction.
Chauthaiwale is also scheduled to hold meetings with Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda and Foreign Minister NP Saud.
It is said that preparations for Prime Minister Dahal’s visit to India in the near future will be discussed in the meeting.
The date of Prime Minister Dahal’s India visit has not been fixed yet.
