Cabinet expansion: PM Dahal adds three new ministers

Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ added three new ministers to the Cabinet, thus expanding the Council of Ministers.

The President of Nepal, Ram Chandra Paudel, on Friday appointed the three new ministers as per the recommendation of the Prime Minister.

Dhana Raj Gurung, the Vice-president of Nepali Congress, has been appointed as the Minister for Law, Justice, and Parliamentary Affairs. Mohan Bahadur Basnet has been appointed as the Health and Population Minister, and Dig Bahadur Limbu has been appointed as the Minister for Youth and Sports.

The announcement of the new appointments was made through a press statement issued by Sagar Acharya, spokesperson of the Office of the President.
