Canadian Tourist Missing in Tanahun; Urgent Search Underway
A Canadian tourist, Kilk Milhausen, has been reported missing from Dumre Bazaar in Bandipur rural municipality 1. Milhausen, who embarked on a journey from Pokhara to Kathmandu, disappeared three days ago after disembarking at Dumre, raising concerns among local authorities and the tourism community.
According to the local police, Milhausen has been out of contact for the past three days, and efforts are underway to locate him. His belongings, which were found in the vehicle he initially traveled in, have already reached Kathmandu. However, the whereabouts of Milhausen remain unknown since he left Dumre.
Tourism Development Committee Chair Kisan Pradhan stated that the tourism police office in Bandipur is collaborating with local tourism entrepreneurs and hoteliers to intensify the search for the missing tourist. Urging the community to come forward with any information, Pradhan emphasized the importance of a collective effort in finding Milhausen.
